Background
I'm a senior UX researcher and designer with 15+ years of experience solving problems that don't have easy answers. My projects have included government portals, emerging technology interfaces, high-stakes information systems, and interactive experiences built for real-world complexity, work that spans federal agencies, cultural institutions, national news organizations, and enterprise software.
I've spent my career in spaces where getting the UX wrong has real consequences. That shapes how I work: research first, always, with close attention to how people actually behave rather than how systems assume they will. I'm drawn to complexity, the kind of problem where the constraints are real, the users are varied, and the obvious solution doesn't exist yet.
I work remotely, independently, and have for most of my career.
